Rhythm and sound

Keyboard artists, who represent a wide range of musical genres between jazz, folk music and classical music, are given a stage here - be it on the piano, accordion, organ, keyboard or button instruments such as the Schwyzerörgeli.

The programmes incorporate the modern trends in jazz, but also seek a connection to the mainstream. Particularly exciting are the crossover approaches that combine folk music with jazz or blur the boundaries between jazz and classical music. The festival thus appeals to a broad audience that is not only interested in this music, but is also open to new sounds. The "Tastentage" festival deliberately dispenses with the label "jazz" in order to position itself at the edges of the spectrum and create space for classical, folk music and foreign influences.
