Past Festivals
In 2023, the “Tastentage-Festival” took place for the fourth time with great success. But jazz concerts have a longer tradition in the Klosters cultural society.
Before the Tastentage festival was created, jazz concerts were held again at the Kulturschuppen after a pause in 2005. Similar to today’s Tastentage, these concerts brought both international stars and young Swiss talent to the stage of the Kulturschuppen, the venue of the Klosters Culture Society. Many of the keyboard artists and musicians from those days would later play a big role in shaping Tastentage.
These concerts offered high-quality and sometimes challenging music, which the audience loved, though attendance was usually modest. This sparked the idea of turning the concerts into a small but refined festival to offer more variety and, hopefully, keep the audience in Klosters for longer.
Up until 2015, Easter was a quiet, event-free time in Klosters. That's why the idea of starting the festival at Easter was born, with the slogan: “From Fasting Days to Keyboard Days.”
Below is an overview of concerts from past festival years.
